A little more about me …
My art is figurative, it develops from drawings and observations of reality whether this is people, places or objects. I am particularly interested in relationships between people, how they connect and interact with each other and the physical space.

I often choose to paint in oils as I love the way it moves on the surface, it also allows me to begin with an intuitive ground of colour which I can refine and change with layers feeling my way through the painting. I enjoy experimenting with different media and printmaking to inform my mark making and challenge my colour use, enabling me to continue to grow and develop.

My palette is frequently heightened as I love lots of colour!

I am based in Lincolnshire, UK, I studied a BA(hons) in Illustration at Art College.  Following a long hiatus of regular jobs, I began creating again in 2022 and am now able to follow my passion.

I  have exhibited in open exhibition’s including at Lincoln’s Usher Gallery, TALP Leisure Painter and Patchings Art Centre.
